All is Shared
In Utopia, we do not spend any time fussing over that which is our personal property, as is done elsewhere. We share what we have with our neighbor. Thus the marketplace does not exist as a place for barter, for making profit, or even for exchanging something you need for something someone else needs. We simply leave whatever we produce or find no need of in the market, neatly arranged categorically alongside more of its type. Need food? Come grab some. Break a plate? Come find another. Just finished sculpting a clay jug? Leave it with the others so someone can make use of it.
